Twitter Reacts to Ariana Grande & Piers Morgan Ending Feud

Thursday Feb 21, 2019

Twitter is reacting to the news that Ariana Grande and Piers Morgan have seemingly ended their feud after having an impromptu dinner date together.

Their drama started in November when the pop singer and the conservative British media personality clashed on Twitter. Morgan slammed Ellen DeGeneres for ogling famous men on International Men's Day

"The hypocrisy of modern feminism laid bare," he said at the time. He later bashed the British girl group Little Mix over a photo shoot, saying he'd "just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity." The tweet was aimed at Grande's mother, who called out Morgan for trolling Little Mix. He added, "As your own daughter does..!"

That's when Grande got involved.

Fast forward to Wednesday when the two bumped into each other and apparently made amends.

"So... we bumped into each other in an LA restaurant, she joined me for 'a chat' & 2 hours later we were still chatting. We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded," Morgan, 53, tweeted, adding a photo of himself and Grande. "Turns out we really like each other. Weird. Thank u ?@ArianaGrande? — next?"

Grande, 25, added:

"thank u for some laughs and some v productive conversation ! it was nice bumping into u! #FutureFeministPiers #FingersCrossed"

Responding to a fan, the "7 Rings" hitmaker offered more details about their meet up.

"well............ we bumped into each other. at a restaurant. and i decided to sit with him and we spoke for a while. i think some progress was made! turns out face to face discussions are a bit kinder and gentler, even if you do indeed disagree. :)"

Of course, Twitter users had their own opinions about the duo getting together. Find the best responses below.
