Welcome to EDGE's New Music Friday, our guide to the best singles and albums released every week! This week, everyone got out of the way for Adele and her new album "30." Hyperpop gurus 100 gecs are back with a brand new single, New York City band Mr Twin Sister share their fun and dance-ready fourth album "Al Mundo Azul" and more!

Adele - "30"

After six long years, Adele is finally back with a new album. "30" comes with 12 tracks, including the single "Easy On Me." Like Adele's previous albums, pop heavy hitters Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, and Shellback are featured as producers and songwriters, as is Tobias Jesso Jr., Shawn Everett, and Inflo.


Mr Twin Sister - "Al Mundo Azul"

New Your City band Mr Twin Sister (Andrea Estella, Gabe D'Amico, Udbhav Gupta, and Eric Cardona) released their fourth album "Al Mundo Azul" this week, a dazzling collection of house, disco, and dance anthems. From the Spanish-language "Polvo" to the bop that is "Ballarino," the band's new album is a delight from start to finish.


100 gecs - "mememe"

Hyperpop gurus 100 gecs share their first new single since 2019 with "mememe." The track clocks in at 2 minutes and 46 seconds, and finds the duo leaning more into their rock side mixed with 8-bit sounds and clear vocals: "I tried on your lipstick, I thought I looked pretty, But you didn't care, no, 'cause you're always busy," chants Dylan Brady.


Big Thief - "Time Escaping"

After announcing that their 20-track double album "Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You" will be out in February, indie rock band Big Thief shared a new song called "Time Escaping." The track follows four previous songs but sounds a bit different for the group, blending the free spirit of The Grateful Dead with a psychedelic touch.
