Controversial Makeup Guru James Charles Tells Fans to 'Stop Showing Up at My House'

Controversial YouTube star and makeup guru James Charles took to Twitter Sunday to tell his fans and 2.35 million followers "stop showing up at my house."

In his message, Charles explained that when fans go to his home in Los Angeles, it's "extremely disrespectful and makes me feel very unsafe in my own home." He also told fans who go to his house that he "will not hug you, I will not take a photo with you, and I will absolutely not sign your palette."

"I am so annoyed," he added in a follow-up tweet hours later. "I was supposed to be done filming hours ago and now I can't even focus."

The BBC reports Charles said he had to wait a long time for the authorities to arrive at his home.

Charles. who has over 11 million YouTube subscribers, made headlines back in 2016 when he became the first male ambassador for CoverGirl.
