Cyndi Lauper's 'Home for the Holidays' Plays Beacon

Cyndi Lauper announces the 7th annual "Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays" benefit concert, presented by AT&T, on Saturday, December 9th at New York City's historic Beacon Theatre in support of the True Colors Fund's work to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth.

For the past six years, this concert has played to sold-out audiences of over 2,800 each year and welcomed performers like P!nk, Sarah McLachlan, Josh Groban, Jason Mraz, 50 Cent, Boy George, Natalie Maines, Nelly Furtado, Natasha Bedingfield, Rosie O'Donnell, Adam Lambert, Norah Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Susan Sarandon, Lou Reed, Alan Cumming, Wanda Sykes, and many more. "Home for the Holidays" has quickly become the signature event for Cyndi's True Colors Fund and provides a significant source of funding towards fulfilling the organization's mission.

Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper, the True Colors Fund works nationally to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth. Through a broad continuum of advocacy, training & education, and youth collaboration programs, the True Colors Fund is creating a world in which young people can be their true selves. 100 percent of the net proceeds from the concert will support the True Colors Fund's programs.

The lineup this year includes Jackson Browne, Dr. John, Paulina Rubio, Sandra Bernhard, Bridget Everett, Ani DiFranco, Jake Shears, Laura Jane Grace, Peaches, Vivian Green, Judy Gold, Jazz Jennings, Wrable, Ariana and the Rose, Ricky Schroeder, Tommy Martinez, Ballets with a Twist and host Carson Kressley.

"Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays," presented by AT&T, will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 8 p.m. at the Beacon Theatre, 2124 Broadway, New York, NY 10023.
