Congratulations to retired Toronto Bluejays pitcher T.J. House and his groom Ryan Neitzel! The pair said their vows in New Orleans on March 29 with "a lavish outdoor wedding that came with all the bells and whistles," TMZ reports.

"The nuptials - and the ensuing party - featured a cigar roller, a tarot card reader and even a parade through the streets with a jazz band!" TMZ noted. "There were also glow sticks ... and, yes, a ton of dancing."

House posted a small album of wedding day photos at Instagram, including shots of himself and his beloved looking sharp in their tuxedos and leading a celebratory group through the streets as a jazz band, also walking with the group, played.

"It's that can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, World Series kind of love," House captioned the photos.

The couple's wedding planner, Nicole Maddox Smith, also took to Instagram, posting photos and video of the happy occasion and noting that "❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜 It was a GOOD Friday celebrating Ryan and TJ! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜".

"Following his retirement after a four-year major league career as a relief pitcher with Cleveland and Toronto, House became the third former player in MLB history to come out publicly in a December 2022 Facebook post," OutSports recalled.

"In addition to sharing his true self with the world, House also used the post to announce his engagement to Neitzel as part of his gratitude for the passage of the Respect for Marriage Act," the LGBTQ+ athletics site added.
