We might finally know the reason why Celine Dion and Lady Gaga are both in Paris just before the Olympic Games ceremony.
French journalist Thierry Moreau wrote on X that Gaga and Dion will reportedly sing a duet of Édith Piaf's classic song "La Vie en Rose" for the opening ceremony.
Neither Gaga nor Dion's reps have confirmed the journalist's claims, but we all can hope.
If you are a fan of Gaga's, then you know Mother Monster performed the song in the film "A Star Is Born" and earned herself an Oscar for the project.
If you're a fan of Madonna's, then you know she has done her own rendition "La Vie en Rose" as part of the set list on her "Rebel Heart" tour.
As for Dion, who has not performed on stage since announcing her battle with stiff person in 2022, French President Emmanuel Macron would not confirm nor deny it that she would be performing. However, he told the national public television channel France 2, that it would be "terrific news" if she did. "Because she's a tremendous artist. I would be immensely happy if she could be at this opening ceremony," he added.
If you're a fan of all the ladies, then you are looking forward to another version of the iconic French song to add to your playlist. Which version of the song will when the gold? You'll have to allegedly watch the opening ceremony to find out.
