Brooks Marks Opens Up, Saying His BF is 'The Most Handsome Man' - But Draws the Line at Dad's Awkward Questions

Reality star Brooks Marks got into an awkward sex talk with his dad as the two were on the golf green on the most recent episode of "Next Gen NYC," but he did adorably cop to having "the most incredible boyfriend" – and, Marks declared, he's also "the most handsome man."

People Magazine reported that on the June 17 episode, dad Seth Marks, looking for the kind of closeness Marks shares with mother Meredith Marks, jumped into some cringey questions, asking about the couple's golf habits and intimate relations.

"It's not his sport of choice," Marks told his father about boyfriend Kade and golfing, "but he says he's pretty good."

Marks said on air that Kade is "the most incredible boyfriend ever" and shared that the couple "met in Park City."

"I was out with my mom during Sundance and, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the most handsome man," Marks disclosed. "We danced, like, all night long. We had a little kiss."

"Brooks' boyfriend revelation came after he previously opened up about what it's like to have his sexuality discussed and personal life dissected on television," People noted, "growing up in front of the cameras on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. "

"What I went through with my sexuality being discussed on TV, facing the backlash that I did, made me feel so insecure and, like, worthless," the outlet quoted Marks saying.

"Trying to come into your own is difficult enough, but let alone when thousands of people are weighing in on it, giving their unsolicited opinion about someone who they've seen five minutes of on TV," he added.

When it came to his dad's questions about his sex life and his "body count" – a tally of the number of people he's slept with – Marks drew a line.

"That's not something that I need to talk to my dad about," People quoted the 25-year-old replying.

"Cameras captured a bit of Kade visiting Brooks at his NYC apartment, and catching Brooks as he fell off the kitchen counter cleaning," Bravo reported on its site.

But he did open up on camera, People relayed, to say that it's not easy for the couple, given that Kade is frequently on the road, "split[ting] his time between Austin and Los Angeles."

Speaking with the Daily Dish, Marks spilled a few drops more of tea, according to Bravo. "My boyfriend has a private equity firm that specializes in service businesses," he said. "I love being able to hear his perspective on all the things with my brand and my work."

Marks said that he's "extremely happy with my relationship life," he said on the Daily Dish, though on "Next Gen NYC" he added poignantly, "every time he's here, I'm like, 'What can I do to make you never want to leave again?'"
